UAE Process Guide
Filipino Healthcare Staffing for UAE Employers: How the Process Works
This guide shows the UAE hiring process, each side's responsibilities, and realistic timelines.
The UAE hiring process runs in seven stages, from brief and sourcing to Philippine clearance, UAE licensing, and arrival. BW handles sourcing, screening, and Philippine-side processing; the employer interviews, hires, sponsors the visa, and completes UAE licensing.
Who handles what
BW Medical Staffing
Sourcing, screening, Philippine-side paperwork, and processing under the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) framework.
The UAE employer
Interviews, the hiring decision, direct employment, visa sponsorship, UAE licensing, and onboarding.

Seven Stages from Brief to UAE Practising Licence
Brief & Scope
Share your Emirate, facility type, role, headcount, and authority (DHA, DOH, or MOH). BW confirms whether suitable candidates are available for your role.
Sourcing
We source candidates through our Philippine network. We prioritise candidates with DataFlow in progress or complete, and the right authority pathway for your Emirate.
Screening and UAE eligibility
We verify PRC records, assess clinical skills and English, and check references. We record each candidate's licensing status.
Shortlist Delivery
You receive profiles with credentials, licensing stage, and our notes. Profiles are usually delivered 3 to 5 weeks after brief confirmation.
Your Interviews & Selection
Interview by video, choose your candidate, and prepare the UAE employment contract.
Legal and immigration processing
We handle visas, immigration, and Philippine clearances under the DMW framework. Candidates never pay fees at any stage.
UAE Licensing & Arrival
Act as direct employer and visa sponsor. Initiate or complete the DHA, DOH, or MOH licensing process. Manage in-country onboarding. The candidate starts after licence confirmation.
The usual order: offer and contract, then visa sponsorship and Emirates ID, then the authority licence. Exact order varies by authority.

UAE Process Questions
In many cases, yes. Some authorities allow pre-arrival applications after DataFlow verification and the required exam, which can shorten the time between arrival and starting clinical practice. We support the documentation where that route is allowed.
After selection, the UAE employer issues the offer and contract, acts as visa sponsor and applies for the Emirates ID, handles the DHA, DOH, or MOH licence pre-arrival or post-arrival, and manages onboarding and accommodation.
