Critical Care Nursing

Hire Filipino ICU Nurses

Critical care is the hardest nursing category to fill across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, from cardiac centres and tertiary ICUs to neonatal units. We recruit ICU nurses directly from the Philippines, screen their unit type and documented bedside hours before you see a profile, and handle the visas, paperwork, and clearances through to arrival, one point of contact from brief to your nurse starting. Candidates never pay a fee at any stage.

Licensing by market: UAE, Saudi Arabia, or Qatar.

What We Verify

  • PRC nursing licence and registration status
  • ICU bedside hours and unit type
  • DataFlow verification stage
  • DHA, DOH, MOH UAE, SCFHS, or QCHP eligibility

One point of contact from your brief to your candidate arriving at your facility.

The role, and what we screen for

A cardiac ICU nurse, a general adult ICU nurse, and a neonatal intensive care nurse are not interchangeable, and treating critical care as one pool wastes your interview time. Every profile we send states the unit type, the documented bedside hours, and experience with ventilated patients. You will not be shown a nurse whose ICU background does not match your unit.

Every candidate holds a PRC nursing licence and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing taught in English, verified at source through DataFlow, with typically two or more years in an ICU, CCU, or high-dependency unit. Neonatal and paediatric intensive care are screened as unit types, with documented NICU or PICU hours; for general ward or ward-based paediatric posts, see our registered nurses and paediatric nurses pages.

Licensing by market

UAE: DHA, DOH, or MOH UAE

The UAE licenses through three separate authorities: DHA in Dubai, DOH in Abu Dhabi, and MOH UAE across Sharjah and the northern Emirates. A licence from one does not transfer to another. ICU nurses license as general nursing, with critical care experience assessed separately. Tell us your Emirate and we confirm the correct pathway before sourcing starts.

Hiring in UAE

Saudi Arabia: SCFHS and DataFlow

Every nurse in Saudi Arabia is classified and licensed by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). The sequence is DataFlow verification, SCFHS classification, then the Prometric examination, which can be sat in the Philippines before departure. Classification sets the professional grade and salary banding, and specialist experience feeds into it, so we present classification documentation with the shortlist where available.

Qatar: QCHP

Every nurse in Qatar needs a licence from the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP): DataFlow verification, then the QCHP examination and registration. One QCHP licence covers every setting, public and private, from Hamad Medical Corporation and Sidra Medicine to the private hospitals, which keeps staffing simple to plan.

How hiring works

1

Share your brief

Tell us the role, numbers, market, and timeline. We confirm the licensing route for your authority before sourcing.

2

We find and vet the candidates

We check credentials, screen the role-specific experience, and confirm eligibility with your authority. You receive a shortlist ready to proceed, with DataFlow status stated on every profile.

3

You interview and choose

Review the profiles, interview by video, and select who you want. The hiring decision is always yours.

4

We handle the legal and immigration side

Work visas, immigration and employment paperwork, and the Philippine government clearances a healthcare worker needs before leaving the country, all processed under the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) framework. Your candidate arrives legally cleared and ready for day one.

Why employers hire Filipino ICU nurses

Unit type stated on every profile

Cardiac, general adult, neonatal, or paediatric intensive care: every profile states the unit type and documented bedside hours, so your clinical lead knows what they are reviewing.

English in critical care

Ventilator charting, drug calculations, handover, and family updates all run in English. Filipino nurses qualify in English, so critical care communication needs no bridging period.

PRC credentials accepted in every market

DHA, DOH, MOH UAE, SCFHS, and QCHP each verify the PRC nursing licence through DataFlow before the examination, with ICU experience assessed on top. The route is well worn.

Grade and unit matched before interview

Where SCFHS classification applies we flag the likely grade, and every profile states the unit background, so nothing shifts after you select.

Employer Questions

Filipino ICU nurses require a valid PRC nursing licence plus documented critical care experience, typically a minimum of two years in an ICU, CCU, or high-dependency unit. UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar licensing authorities assess ICU nursing as a specialised practice category: the PRC licence is verified through DataFlow, and ICU clinical experience is separately reviewed. BW Medical Staffing verifies the PRC licence and the ICU experience records, including clinical hours documentation, before presenting any candidate profile.

Documented bedside hours in an ICU, CCU, or high-dependency unit, the unit type, and hands-on experience with ventilated patients. We typically put forward nurses with two or more years in critical care. If your unit needs a specific background, cardiac ICU for example, tell us at brief stage and we screen for it.

Yes. Neonatal and paediatric intensive care are specified as unit types at brief stage and we screen for documented NICU or PICU hours specifically. For general paediatric ward nursing rather than intensive care, see our paediatric nurses page.

Paediatric nurses

Confirmed brief to shortlist is typically 3 to 5 weeks, and brief to arrival 3 to 4 months. DataFlow primary source verification runs 4 to 8 weeks; the UAE authority examinations (DHA, DOH, or MOH UAE) about 8 to 12 weeks; SCFHS 10 to 16 weeks including classification; and QCHP 8 to 12 weeks. Candidates who already hold completed DataFlow move fastest, and we prioritise them for urgent briefs.
