Hire Filipino Nurses in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi's hospital groups, specialist centres, and long-term care facilities are licensed by the Department of Health (DOH), a separate authority from DHA in Dubai and MOH UAE in the Northern Emirates. We recruit nurses and healthcare staff directly from the Philippines, confirm DOH eligibility before you see a profile, and handle the visas, paperwork, and Philippine clearances through to arrival.

DOH licensing, in brief
Every healthcare professional in Abu Dhabi Emirate needs a DOH licence. For a Filipino nurse this means DataFlow verification of PRC credentials, which takes 4 to 8 weeks, then the DOH examination. A DOH licence covers Abu Dhabi only and does not transfer to Dubai or the Northern Emirates. If you hire across authorities we prepare candidates for each one your facilities need.

DOH vs DHA: What Abu Dhabi Employers Need to Know
A DHA licence cannot be used in Abu Dhabi and a DOH licence cannot be used in Dubai. DOH in Abu Dhabi and DHA in Dubai are separate licensing authorities with their own examinations and registration processes. If your facility operates across both Emirates you will need candidates licensed for each Emirate. BW Medical Staffing prepares candidates for both authorities and advises on the best approach when you hire across Emirates.

Registered nurses for Abu Dhabi
Registered nurses are the main hire across Abu Dhabi's hospital groups, specialist centres, and long-term care facilities. General and medical-surgical wards, outpatient departments, and care homes all run on them. ICU, theatre, and paediatric posts are specialist briefs we source separately.
Every Filipino registered nurse holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a PRC licence from the Professional Regulation Commission, verified through DataFlow. Training and documentation are in English from the first year of study, with typically two or more years of hospital experience. Before a profile reaches you we confirm the PRC licence, DataFlow status, and DOH eligibility. You only review nurses who can complete DOH licensing for Abu Dhabi.
Why Abu Dhabi employers source Filipino registered nurses
English from day one
Philippine nursing training is in English. Filipino nurses work and document in English throughout their careers, so there is no language gap at your Abu Dhabi facility.
PRC credentials accepted by DOH
DOH accepts PRC credentials as the basis for DataFlow verification and licensing. The pathway is well established and the timelines hold.
Established Abu Dhabi presence
Filipino nurses are widely represented across Abu Dhabi's hospital groups, specialist centres, and long-term care facilities.
DOH pathway expertise
DOH has its own examination and registration, separate from DHA in Dubai and MOH UAE in the Northern Emirates. We prepare candidates for the DOH pathway from the start.
Specialist nursing is screened against its own standard. Abu Dhabi ICU, theatre, and paediatric briefs run through our UAE specialist pages: ICU nurses, theatre nurses, and paediatric nurses.
